The emerging trend of holding mass marriage ceremonies is good omen and proved a relief for the poor, who cannot afford the expense of marriage of their daughter due to poverty and demand of dowry. Mass marriageis a blessing which shares the burden of poor section of the society in this materialistic era. It is an attempt to share the burden of financially weak people for ensuring timely marriages of their daughters.
It is terrible that most the financially backward people are not able to marry their daughters well in time because of heavy demand of dowry as a result of which thousands marriageable girls are facing this social evil. Under the prevailing situation the idea of mass marriage under the flagship of The Legend has become a major source of fulfilling the religious, social, cultural and moral responsibility and provide an opportunity to wealthy and philanthropists to share the burden of poor section of society to safeguard timely marriagesof their daughters.
The basic concept of holding this mass wedding ceremony is to help destitute and to ensure marriages of their daughter in a decent way. It our religious and moral responsibility that we should care and share the problems and complications, especially the financial constrains confronted by the poor sector of the society. Mass marriage is a source to support and reduce the financial burden of poor and needy families and it is our moral, social and religious obligation that we should jointly work for reducing their problems including marriages of their daughters.
Health is a major concern for the populace whether they are living rural and urban areas. Health problem and poverty possess a cyclic relation wherein each feeds the other. With the rising commercialization of Health sector, health facilities are becoming out of reach for poor. People who have health problem, generally they are poor, or they are far reaching to the hospitals. The Legend aims to assist the poor and needy by providing them health facilities on subsidized and marginal cost.
Free medical camp is an important activity in the field of healthcare. The purpose of holding free medical camps is to provide primary healthcare services to the neglected and hard to reach communities at their doorstep.
The Legend Welfare Society is organized Food and Health program for poor people. People who cannot earn even their livelihood could avail this program. Masjid (Mosques) or Our Main Office would be the Centre for this program.
The Legend has a civil right group comprising advocates, social activists, and social workers dedicated to using the legal system to protect and advance the civil and Human rights in India. The Legend is committed to the protection of the society from violation of Human Rights, illegal detentions, custodial deaths, fake encounters, false cases on the behest of political exigencies, unprovoked firing on demonstrators, criminal negligence of officials and public servants at the time of natural and manmade calamities and consumer frauds by local manufacturers and service providers and multinational companies.
Disaster and calamities are among the source of poverty. Disasters ruin the lives, snatch the livelihood means and destabilize the whole society.
In an instant, life can change for millions of families. Natural disaster can take homes hat little possessions they have. During Humanitarian emergencies, responding immediately and effectively could mean saving many lives. During Natural disaster and communal riots, there are critical shortage of ford medicine and shelter. As a result many civilians, particularly women and children and the elderly suffer because they are among the most vulnerable members of the society. No social development program can overlook the disasters. Geographically and socio-politically, many areas in the country are highly prone to both natural and man-made disasters.
The legend has therefore given due importance to disaster management and has been implementing various projects for disaster mitigation and management.
In the past The Legend has quickly responded to natural calamities by providing first aid supplies, shelter, blankets, water, food and other basic survival materials. The emergency and relief program of The Legend includes providing survival items like food, water, clothes, shelter and medical care during emergencies.
An important step we are going to take in the field of employment, we want locate to those educated unemployed youths who have talent and potential but have no source of getting employment in this contemporary era.
We hope that through our efforts we can solve a very complicated problem of the youth. The candidates those who are well educated and have done bachelors/masters or technical as well professional courses, could meet/send their Resume/CV.
Industries/companies could also take advantage of this opportunity and could get talented and deserved youth for the employment. Companies/ industries will also be provided room/space for interview.
The Legend Welfare Society has a system of collection of charitable fund. This collected charity fund is used as the fulfillment of Basic need of the needy or poor persons.

The rate of unemployment is increasing day by day. To control unemployment it is necessary that we should increase the small scale industries because these are labor intensive. The Legend Welfare Society is providing employment opportunities in terms of Small Industries/Cottage Industries. The people, who could not go to the factories or other earning fields due to some stuff, would be facilitated through this program. They would a part of production of the capital. It is not possible to provide Govt. jobs to all the unemployed people.
It may also increase the self- employment.Our women can be engage in the cottage and small scale industry and can increase the production. Moreover, in our society women cannot work with other men in the factories or in other working areas. We should increase the number of cottage industries to make the female sector a real asset of the nation. They can utilize their leisure time for the production of the capital which will help them in improving their living standard.
