Annual Report

The Legend Welfare Society is a National Level Registered Non-Governmental Organization. The Legend is working since 2005 at grass-root level in different areas with different people of the Nation.

1. Running schools

The Legend Welfare Society is running several schools for poor and slum area’s children. The Legend set up several school camps for Muzaffar Nagar communal riots victims. Teachers were located to teach these children. The people of locality appreciated the effort of The legend. The children would benefit through the dissemination of education.

As per it is a dream of The Legend that every Madrasa has curriculum of Modern Education with the preservation of their religious Education. The Legend Welfare Society also supports to Madrasas to disseminate Modern education with the compatibility of Religious Education which is currently providing. As The Legend is also Running Schools in Ghaziabad in a Madrasa

2. Relief Camp Rehabilitation Camps for Poor, Homeless, Earth Quake Victims, Flood Victims, Communal Riots Victims

The Legend Welfare Society runs various relief camps across the nation. Distribution of blankets food packets, camps for day and night stay, safe drinking water supply, clothes, milk for new born children etc. are some services activities of the Legend Welfare Society. As The Legend had distributed all the above mentioned goods for Kashmir flood victims, Assam Communal riots victims and Muzaffar Nagar communal riots victims with the cooperation of other organization.

3. Donation Camp

The Legend Welfare Society also runs various donation camps in different parts of the country for destitute, deprived, marginalized and poor people.

4. Awareness Programs

We “The Legend Welfare Society” are running several awareness activities in different parts of the Nation. As we had disseminated awareness among the masses in the Muzaffar Nagar camps. Thousands of students would be benefitted through the educational awareness programs and after attending the programs which were held by The Legend, they decided to acquire higher education in any circumstances. The Legend made them aware regarding the educational advantages and enabled them to attain job oriented, skillful and job oriented education.

5. Sanitation and Hygienic Awareness Programs

As sanitation and hygiene play an important role throughout the human life cycle. And a minor carelessness may cause a source of major disease. Urban and rural, both areas are not refrain from affect of unhygienic and insanitation. Consequently, The Legend Welfare Society has been working on sanitation and hygiene awareness program in both rural as well as urban areas.

6. Health Awareness Program

There is saying “Health is Wealth” and “Healthy Mind lives in a Healthy Body”. Our Efforts in this field make people aware regarding live a healthy and joyful life. In this regard The Legend Welfare Society ran various medical and health camps in far reaching rural and urban areas where facilities for medical treatment are not easily accessible.

7. Food Distribution Camps

Food, Clothes and Shelter are some basic need for a human being. Food is most required basic need for a living being. As human being can live without clothes and shelter but, cannot live without food. So in this regard we have taken various steps to fulfill the basic need and requirement of the poor and who cannot earn their livelihood. The Legend Welfare Society runs numerous food distribution camps for poor, baggers and homeless individuals in different parts of the country.

8. Mass Marriages

The emerging trend of holding mass marriage ceremonies is good omen and proved a relief for the poor, who cannot afford the expense of marriage of their daughter due to poverty and demand of dowry. Mass marriage is a blessing which shares the burden of poor section of the society in this materialistic era. Mass marriage is a source to support and reduce the financial burden of poor and needy families and it is our moral, social and religious obligation that we should jointly work for reducing their problems including marriages of their daughters. It is an attempt to share the burden of financially weak people for ensuring timely marriages of their daughters.

It is terrible that most the financially backward people are not able to marry their daughters well in time because of heavy demand of dowry as a result of which thousands marriageable girls are facing this social evil. Under the prevailing situation the idea of mass marriage under the flagship of The Legend has become a major source of fulfilling the religious, social, cultural and moral responsibility and provide an opportunity to wealthy and philanthropists to share the burden of poor section of society to safeguard timely marriages of their daughters.

9. Other welfare activities

Shelter

Shelter is one of the basic needs of human being. If we walk at the road side in the night and try to explore such people who have no shelter, so many people we could find who are sleeping on the footpath and under the overbridge and flyover. Such people have no any support and living their life not less than an animal, although they are needy and deserving for help and support. Despite, knowing all these things, people who are living surrounding to these people would not help and support them. The Legend Welfare Society has taken so many steps and helped so many such people who have no shelter, no food and no any help.

Books distribution

In our life books play an important and vital role. These books open the mind of an individual to understand the worldly affairs. And these books enable an individual to be a sensible and rational being. But in our surroundings there are so many students who can afford the expense of the costly books and their financially condition is not well-off. And if they are provided support in the form of books, they would do better in their careers. So, The Legend Welfare Society is distributing required books to deserving students who are meritorious and bright.
